COMPOSICIONES CON BOLES DE METAL / COMPOSITIONS WITH METAL BOWLS

Colección de boles realizados a partir de diferentes aleaciones: plata de ley, plata fina, plata y cobre, plata y bronce. La inspiración vino a partir de los crisoles que utilizaba para fundir los metales, mostrados más abajo.

Los diámetros oscilan entre los 30 y 80 mms, y el más alto mide unos 70 mms. Los gruesos son entre 0.8 y 0.45 mms.

A bowls collection made of different alloys: sterling silver, fine silver, fine silver and copper, fine silver and bronze. I found the inspiration on the crucibles I used to fuse the metals, which can be seen below.

Pendientes de plata y cierre de oro blanco.

Un hombre y una mujer se conocen en Polonia, y al cabo de un tiempo deciden irse a vivir a Granada, Barcelona, para luego volver al lugar donde se conocieron y continuar allí su vida juntos.

Sterling silver and white gold earrings.

A man and a woman met in Poland. Some months later they decided to go living in Granada, in Barcelona, to finally end up going back to the city where they first met.

Para crearlo me inspiré en la estrecha relación que tengo con mi hermana, y también por la separación que se produce cada día que pasa, en la que nos alejamos una de la otra por el estilo de vida que llevamos.

This ring shows the close relationship existing between me and my sister, and also our progressive separation due to our different life styles.

El color de la ropa y textura se integran en el broche y hace que cuando lo llevas con otra prenda sea distinto.

Sterling silver and pvc brooch.

This brooch is designed to be integrated in the colour of any piece of clothes, so that every time you wear it, it looks like a different one.

Broche de plata, nylon, fieltro y acero. Esta bola de hilo surgió de lo nerviosa que me llegué a poner cuando estaba enrollando unos metros de hilo de plata en un tubo de cartón. Una vez que se me hizo el enredo la solución era o fundirlo o cortarlo en trocitos pequeños e ir aprovechando o tirarlo o reutilizarlo de otra manera, y opté por ésta última porque así cada vez que lo veo me acuerdo de aquel día.

Felt, nylon, steel and sterling silver brooch.

I made this ball of thread because I felt too nervous when I was rolling up some metres of sterling silver thread. I thought there were different solutions: fusing it, cutting it into small pieces, throwing it or using it in a different way. Now, every time I see this brooch I remember that day.

Esclava de plata. El diseño lo hice a partir de trozos de papel agujereados que los fui encajando como si de un puzzle se tratase.

Silver bracelet.

I used papers with holes to make the composition, as a jigsaw.

Anillo de plata con una iolita. Sin embargo, no siempre ha tenido este aspecto ya que ésta es la tercera transformación que sufre. Por eso he decidido que la piedra diese vueltas sobre si misma.

He aprovechado que la iolita fuese transparente para colocarla en vertical, si la miramos a contraluz se ven sus incisiones y también puedes verte reflejado en ella.

Sterling silver and iolita ring.

This ring has not always had this aspect, as it had suffered three different transformation. I finally decided to make the iolita spin, and I put it in upright position because it is a transparent gem, and if we llok at it against the light, we can notice its incisions and even see our own reflection.

Brazalete de ganchillo realizado con hilo de plata fina, alambre de color azul y cobre.

Esta pieza es la excepción. No me inspiré en nada antes de crearla.

Crochet bracelet made of fine silver wire, copper and blue wire.

This jewel is the exception. I created it without any special inspiration.

Collar de latón en el que represento situaciones de caos que se dan en distintas atmósferas: caos intelectual, familiar, doméstico, ambiental, eléctrico, que acaban perturbándome si se dan a menudo.
